Chief Executive Officer – CEO
Vlad Lebedev is a visionary with a unique and extensive background in laboratory software engineering and design lasting over 20 years. He founded RURO after his work at the National Institutes of Health and Invitrogen led him to realize a gap in bioinformatics. After the initial success of RURO’s first system, it was his second design, FreezerPro, that earned RURO a firm place in the market.
Today, he continues to inject RURO with energy, ideas and overall leadership. His blended understanding of science, technology and customer service allow him to contribute valuably to almost every area of RURO. Vlad also has nearly 10 years of experience using RFID, including several certifications for work with the technology.
Chief Operating Officer – COO
With a background in banking and hospital software systems, Tom Dolan began working for RURO in 2011. Tom spent years as RURO’s Director of Sales before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer. He has long been the top business development presence at RURO, contributing to corporate and partner growth worldwide.
As COO, Tom has led several initiatives to formalize and expand RURO processes, including ISO 9001 certification in 2015.
Chief Technical Officer – CTO
Max Didenko has been a professional software engineer for more than 20 years and was responsible for the success of major system deployments, integration projects and software lifecycle management efforts at Scaleform, National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) and Invitrogen before cofounding RURO in 2006. Max is responsible for much of the technical foundation of RURO’s systems and has led many of the company’s efforts to improve its software frameworks over the years.
General Manager – RURO Europe
With 10 years of scientific and industry experience, Francesco is responsible for RURO activities in Europe. Prior to joining, Francesco served Angelantoni Life Science s.r.l. where he held various Marketing & Sales positions for the launch of robotic product lines. Francesco received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Perugia, and a Master degree in Biomedical Products management from Luiss Business School in Rome.
Francesco now combines his passion for regenerative medicine, robotics and software trying to facilitate the transition from research to clinical through the use and marketing of highly innovative solutions.
General Manager – RURO China
Positive thinking, good business sense, and high loyalty. Elyn Yin is the general manager of RURO China. As general manager, she is leading the sales, implementation, and service teams. She also drives the overall business and financial performance to assure the profitability and the sustainability of the business growth in China market. Elyn graduated from FuDan university business administration management and has over 10 years of solid working experience in multi-national IT corporations.

Quality & Compliance Officer
Garrick’s main focuses are the management of quality assurance and testing for our software products and projects, industry procedure and policy compliance, and influencing continuous improvement as a whole. He’s been with RURO since 2011, during which he has had the opportunity to be involved with nearly every aspect of the growth of our products, projects, customers, and the company as a whole.
